The Food Runner at Yard House plays a crucial role in bridging the operations between the kitchen (Heart of House) and the guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver hot food to guests promptly and accurately
  • Support servers by relaying food orders from kitchen to dining area
  • Ensure food quality standards and presentation meet Yard House expectations
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food running stations
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to resolve order discrepancies
  • Assist with resetting tables and replenishing service areas as needed
