With a culture rooted in the 'gold standards' of service, The Ritz-Carlton is a beacon of excellence in the luxury hospitality industry, consistently setting higher benchmarks for guest care and comfort.
This particular position at the Orlando location is a non-management, full-time role within the Food and Beverage & Culinary department. Responsibilities include completing closing tasks such as storing reusable merchandise, dismantling displays, cleaning equipment and work areas, securing refrigerators and doors, restocking items, and ensuring all daily cleaning checklists are thoroughly completed. Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of porcelain, glassware, and silverware prior to use is essential, as is continually keeping workspaces clean throughout the day.
In addition to physical tasks requiring the ability to lift, move and manipulate objects up to 50 pounds, this role emphasizes adherence to company safety policies, reporting maintenance or safety hazards, and participating in safety training and certifications. A professional appearance and uniform standard are mandatory to maintain the brand's distinguished image. Confidentiality regarding company information and protecting company property are also vital responsibilities. Candidates are expected to work collaboratively with coworkers, supporting team goals and promoting a respectful and dignified work environment. Excellent communication skills, both in-person and via telephone, are necessary to maintain professional interactions with guests and team members. The position also involves physical activity such as prolonged standing or walking, reaching, bending, and navigating various surfaces and stairways throughout the work shift.
Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and may have previous experience in food service or hospitality environments; however, prior supervisory experience is not required. No specific licenses or certifications are necessary to apply. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a globally recognized hospitality brand where employees are empowered to be their best professional selves and take pride in their work. By joining The Ritz-Carlton, employees embark on a rewarding career path filled with learning, growth, and the chance to help craft extraordinary memories for guests. Marriott International’s extensive network ensures ample opportunities for career development and a supportive global community. If you are passionate about delivering luxury service and thrive in a team-oriented setting, this position offers a pathway to contribute meaningfully while advancing your hospitality career.
