River Hall Country Club is currently hiring Food Runners to join their dynamic dining service team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience by assisting in the timely and accurate delivery of food items from the kitchen to the members and guests. Reporting to the Dining Room Manager, Food Runners play a critical role as the liaison between kitchen staff, wait staff, and guests, guaranteeing order accuracy, food quality, and exceptional customer service. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional appearance, and handle multiple tasks such as monitoring food presentation, replenishing guest needs, managing workstation supplies, and maintaining sanitation and organization throughout the dining area. Job Duties

Match order ticket(s) with prepared food items and sides once completed by the kitchen line staff
check presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items
monitor food quality and return sub-standard items to the kitchen
serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
communicate with service staff to inform them of orders that have been delivered or returned
keep orders in sequence to ease service process
keep workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
incorporate safe work practices in job performance
maintain a professional appearance
provide prompt and efficient customer service
check back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction
replenish items as necessary or requested
keep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
listen and respond to customer complaints
perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by your manager
perform other duties as assigned
