River Hall Country Club is currently seeking dedicated Food Runners to join its dynamic dining team. This role is crucial in supporting seamless and efficient dining service by ensuring that meals are delivered promptly and accurately to the club’s members and guests. Food Runners act as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, overseeing the careful presentation and timing of food delivery. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate of $15.00. The Food Runner will report directly to the Dining Room Manager and is responsible for verifying order accuracy, maintaining food quality, and providing courteous customer service throughout each dining experience. The successful candidate must be fast on their feet, highly detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering friendly, prompt service. This role involves working indoors primarily, with some exposure to outdoor elements, and requires physical stamina including the ability to lift moderately heavy items and maintain high energy levels for extended periods. Job Duties
- Matches order ticket(s) with prepared food items and sides once completed by the kitchen line staff
- Checks presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items
- Monitors food quality and returns sub-standard items to the kitchen
- Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- Communicates with service staff to inform them of orders that have been delivered or returned
- Keeps orders in sequence to ease service process
- Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Checks back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction
- replenishes items as necessary and/or requested
- Keeps tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
- Listen and respond to customer complaints
- Performs clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by your manager
