The Food Runner position at Aramark is a vital role within the kitchen team designed to ensure smooth and efficient operations. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen manager to assist in preparing meals and baked goods according to the menu, ensuring that food is handled safely and served promptly. This role requires attention to detail as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate meal records, managing cash receipts, and preparing daily reports that reflect all kitchen activities. You will also play an essential part in upholding high kitchen safety and sanitation standards, complying with food safety protocols to ensure that all food products are stored and served at optimal temperatures.

Your daily duties will include preparing and garnishing meals to enhance presentation and appeal, assisting in maintaining hygienic food storage practices, and handling cooking equipment with care, especially sharp utensils. You will maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including refrigerators, freezers, counters, steam tables, and floors, ensuring a sanitary environment that meets Aramark's strict standards. The role demands physical stamina, as activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods are common. Wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a critical part of maintaining safety. With the support of the kitchen manager, you will help coordinate menu preparation and ensure all meal components are accounted for and prepared timely, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for customers.

This position is ideal for individuals with a Food Service Certification and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, who have the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions efficiently.
