Job Description
Innovative Dining Group (IDG) is a recognized and established restaurant group known for its dedication to culinary excellence and elevated dining experiences. As a company, IDG places a strong emphasis on service, professionalism, and innovation within the hospitality sector. Recently, IDG has expanded its horizons by partnering with Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, a newly reimagined lifestyle hotel and part of the prestigious Curio Collection by Hilton. This collaboration marks a significant development for IDG as it ventures into resort dining in the heart of Northern California's renowned Napa Valley. Casa Mani Resort promises a refined and uniquely crafted dining experience, featuring multiple new outlets that focus on seasonality, quality ingredients, and artisanal craftsmanship. The resort is designed to appeal to guests seeking elevated dining amidst the scenic and celebrated wine country setting.
As part of this exciting growth, IDG is currently hiring for the role of Food Runner at Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley. This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a design-driven, innovative establishment that values professional growth and exceptional guest service. The Food Runner plays an integral part in the dining experience by ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests while maintaining coordination with the kitchen and service teams. This role requires enthusiasm for hospitality, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The Food Runner responsibilities include preparing the runner station with necessary items like condiments and salads, checking food quality and presentation before delivery, and explaining dishes and condiments to guests to enhance their dining experience. Additionally, Food Runners assist servers by clearing tables, providing guest needs such as silverware, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the expo and runner stations. The role occasionally requires helping the team by running bus tubs to the dish area and performing station opening, closing, and side work duties. Food Runners also must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain composure under pressure while creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests. This position offers the chance to contribute to a standout food-and-beverage experience in wine country with a team that values upward mobility and ongoing professional development within the hospitality industry. Employment type is likely full-time with a focus on flexible scheduling to meet the demands of a high-volume resort dining operation. While specific salary details are not provided, candidates can expect competitive compensation aligned with market standards for similar roles in upscale hospitality settings.
