Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior food service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with POS expo systems is desirable, especially TOAST
  • Experience in banquet service, bussing, or supporting kitchen operations is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic culinary knowledge and restaurant experience enhance your ability to support the team effectively
  • Customer service skills that foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Hospitality background or hotel experience can be beneficial in delivering exceptional guest services

Job Duties

  • Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and with a friendly demeanor
  • Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before serving
  • Announce the items to the table, acknowledging sauces, meat temperatures and etc.
  • Assist servers with clearing empty plates and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs of guests
  • Support food safety protocols by handling dishes carefully and maintaining cleanliness during service
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods making sure that hot food is hot and cold food is cold
