The Food Runner position at Silverado Resort is vital in ensuring that guests receive prompt, accurate, and courteous food service. This role requires attentiveness to detail to ensure food orders are delivered accurately and in a timely fashion. As part of the food and beverage team, the food runner supports servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operational flow and high sanitation standards. This role demands physical stamina for frequent standing, carrying food items, and maintaining a polished appearance consistent with the resort’s professional standards. The position offers a competitive wage beginning at $16.90 per hour plus tips, reflecting the responsibility and skill required to fulfill the job effectively. Job Requirements

  • must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours
  • must be able to bend stoop or reach as needed
  • must exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects
  • long hours sometimes required
  • in compliance with california laws responsible beverage service and food handlers certification are required

  • actively participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador for Silverado Resort
  • participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing proper uniform business attire and nametag
  • maximize efforts towards productivity identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
  • coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each guest
  • ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
