The Food Runner position at Barcelona Restaurants is an essential role that supports the smooth operation of the dining experience. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality field
Ability to stand for the entirety of the scheduled shift
Ability to walk and move around the restaurant for most of the scheduled shift
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to hold warm plates to deliver food in a timely fashion
Barcelona Restaurants, LLC complies with E-Verify regulations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality field
Strong verbal skills
Strong knowledge of menu items
Ability to move quickly to ensure food is delivered promptly
High volume restaurant experience is a plus

Job Duties

Check food for accuracy, presentation and temperature prior to removing it from the window
Communicate with all parts of the kitchen so food ticket is executed correctly
Deliver food to tables promptly
Answer questions about the food if guest asks
Pre-bus soiled plates from guest tables
Tidy work stations and expo area
Understand restaurant layout in order for food to be delivered correctly
