Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of culinary experience
  • post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant culinary role
  • equivalent of 2-3 years of post-high school education or relevant experience
  • comprehensive understanding of food service operations principles and industry practices
  • skilled at leading teams and addressing kitchen challenges
  • capable of clear communication in speaking, reading, and writing

Job Duties

  • Manage a team and oversee kitchen functions
  • coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training kitchen staff
  • monitor daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery
  • develop menus and recipes and standardize production protocols
  • establish presentation techniques and quality standards
  • maintain and operate kitchen equipment correctly
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction
  • assist in developing junior culinary staff by sharing expertise
