  • Ensures optimum product yield and quality through the product lifecycle
  • Labels, dates, and rotates bulk produce and prepped items to maintain freshness
  • Stores food items in approved, covered containers ensuring safety and quality
  • Uses the buffet production system to comply with quality and shelf life standards
  • Notifies management of discrepancies such as food spoilage or invoice errors
  • Assists Buffet Attendant with maintaining a full and clean buffet
  • Cleans, maintains, and organizes prep areas, coolers, equipment, and dry storage
  • Performs duties in compliance with health department laws and cleanliness standards
  • Assists guests and performs administrative tasks during meal periods
