CEC Entertainment, LLC is a premier leader in family dining and entertainment, widely recognized for operating the iconic brand Chuck E. Cheese, as well as Peter Piper Pizza and Chuck's Arcade. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, CEC Entertainment prides itself on creating joyful, memorable experiences for children and families through exceptional food, engaging play, and friendly service. The company emphasizes its commitment to safety, innovation, and community involvement. Each year, Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays, making it a beloved destination for family fun. The organization is also notable for its philanthropic efforts, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. In 2025, CEC Entertainment earned the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its dedication to employee well-being and industry leadership. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC maintains a significant presence in the family entertainment industry.

The role of Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is a vital position focused on supporting the dining and fun experience by preparing menu items such as pizza, salads, and wings. This is a no-fry kitchen environment where food preparation involves easy prep tasks. Employees in this position are integral members of the team, trained across various duties to ensure excellent customer service and efficient kitchen operations. The company fosters career growth opportunities with over 60% of managers promoted from within, making this an excellent role for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a fulfilling career in food service and hospitality. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, and the role offers commission potential based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes, with commission payouts made bi-weekly unless otherwise required by law.

This position offers participation in the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees access to earned wages quickly. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen requires the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and endure standing, bending, and other physical activities throughout each shift. Employees must exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic personality, excellent customer service skills, and flexibility to work various shifts. The work environment may include flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, so adaptability and resilience are essential qualities.

CEC Entertainment supports its workforce nationwide with a competitive benefits package including telemedicine, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, employee meal discounts, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours weekly receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, paid sick and vacation time, holidays where applicable, flexible spending account options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education support. The company complies with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and reasonable workplace accommodations to support individuals with disabilities.

CEC Entertainment celebrates a culture of diversity and inclusion, striving to ensure its workforce reflects the varied backgrounds and perspectives of the community it serves. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company does not discriminate based on race, color, ancestry, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any protected class under federal, state, or local law. This empowering work environment combined with robust benefits, a commitment to safety, and employee advancement pathways makes CEC Entertainment an outstanding employer for those passionate about delivering great food, fun, and family experiences.
