Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, renowned for operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, the company has established itself as a cornerstone of family fun and entertainment, serving millions of guests annually across nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries. Through its engaging, family-focused atmosphere, CEC Entertainment has crafted a unique niche where kids and families can come together to create joyful, lasting memories filled with fun, food, and play. The company is deeply committed to safety and community support, exemplified by programs like Kid Check® and its generous donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its dedication to innovation and employee well-being. Peter Piper Pizza complements this family dining experience by offering a neighborhood pizzeria vibe where fun isn’t just added-on — it's baked in. This commitment to fun and community connection reinforces physical wellness and motor skills development in kids through various play attractions.

The role of Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese plays a vital role in upholding the company’s promise of delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is especially ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a rewarding career in hospitality and entertainment. Among the unique features of this job, the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program offers employees access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional pay cycle, enhancing financial flexibility. Food Prep and Pizza Makers operate in a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on simple yet delicious preparations such as pizza, salads, and wings. Employees are cross-trained in various kitchen functions, empowering them with versatile skills and opening opportunities for growth within the company. Chuck E. Cheese values its team members by offering flexible schedules, scholarships, employee perks, discounts, and referral programs, fostering a supportive and engaging workplace culture. Essential job functions require the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and stay physically active during shifts, including standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The work environment is lively and dynamic, featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and occasional loud noises, all elements that contribute to the vibrant atmosphere for which Chuck E. Cheese is known.

CEC Entertainment also prioritizes diversity and inclusion, emphasizing a culture that reflects the diverse backgrounds of its guests and workforce. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment ensures fair treatment and opportunity regardless of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class. Through comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and retirement savings plans, along with extensive job training and career development opportunities, Chuck E. Cheese offers a holistic employment package designed to support employee growth, health, and financial security. This multifaceted role within a high-energy, family-oriented entertainment environment offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic company where fun, food, and community come together to create memorable experiences for families every day.
