CEC Entertainment offers a dynamic workplace that encourages career growth and development through comprehensive job training and the empowerment of its Cast Members. Over 60 percent of managers at Chuck E. Cheese are promoted from within, highlighting its commitment to internal career progression. The company fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and celebration of fun to unite families across various communities.
The current openings are for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within CEC Entertainment’s kitchen teams. These roles are essential to the company’s mission of feeding the fun by preparing fresh orders and assisting with food preparation tasks in a no-fry kitchen environment. Employees in this role primarily prepare pizzas, salads, and wings using easy prep methods, avoiding fried foods. The positions come with competitive pay starting from $17.90 to $18.90 hourly, with commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. The company also offers a unique benefit through its "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages without waiting for the typical bi-weekly paycheck.
This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a fulfilling career in the food service and family entertainment industry. Cast Members are cross-trained in a variety of positions, enabling a diverse skill set and a more engaging work experience. The workplace environment is fast-paced and energetic, requiring employees to be enthusiastic and customer-focused while supporting safety and health standards rigorously maintained by CEC Entertainment. Physical demands include the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and sustain activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts.
CEC Entertainment values diversity and equal opportunity employment strongly and ensures compliance with laws protecting applicants and employees from discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or other protected classes. Reasonable accommodations are available to ensure all individuals can perform their job functions effectively.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means joining a team that is passionate about creating the best place for kids and families to eat and play—a workplace where employees contribute to memorable experiences while advancing their careers within a supportive and inclusive company culture.
