CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is a cornerstone of fun, food, and play for families everywhere. The company prides itself on creating joyful, lasting memories through its focus on combining delicious food, exciting entertainment, and welcoming community spaces. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, making it a beloved destination where kids can truly be kids. The brand is known for its commitment to safety, demonstrated through initiatives like Kid Check®, and its strong community support reflected in donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized for its innovation and dedication to employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.
At CEC Entertainment, the culture emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and the importance of play in families' lives. The company encourages physical wellness and development in children through their interactive amusements and attractions, aiming to bring families and communities closer together. Peter Piper Pizza, one of CEC’s restaurants, offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience filled with quality food and engaging entertainment where fun is truly baked in.
The role currently being offered is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within the kitchen. This position is essential to supporting the fun experience by preparing menu items such as pizzas, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment that emphasizes straightforward, fresh food preparation. This makes it an excellent opportunity for both first-time job seekers and for individuals looking to build a career in food service or hospitality, as CEC promotes internal growth, with over 60% of managers promoted from within their ranks.
Compensation includes commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales, with bi-weekly payouts. The company has introduced the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages promptly without waiting for typical paycheck schedules. Beyond financial incentives, employees enjoy competitive pay, flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarship opportunities, referral programs, a comprehensive perks and discounts program, and the CEC Cares Fund that supports employees during emergencies.
This job requires employees to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting throughout their shifts, all within an environment that involves flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Employees must be energetic, enthusiastic, and equipped with excellent customer service skills to thrive in this fast-paced, interactive setting. The company is committed to health and safety, maintaining rigorous sanitation standards and making reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform their essential job functions safely.
Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a company that values its employees, supports their growth, and fosters a fun and inclusive culture where every employee can contribute to making unforgettable experiences for families every day.
