The role of Food Prep at our Jimmy John’s franchise demands motivated, friendly, team-oriented individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent guest service. In this role, you will be responsible for executing genuine greetings and farewells to customers, taking and accurately filling orders, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the restaurant. Your duties will also include handling cash transactions, operating the cash register, and ensuring all food items are prepared according to prescribed portion sizes, recipes, and operational procedures. This position requires someone who can display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments while committing to keeping the store clean and inviting at all times. The physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, reflecting the active and hands-on nature of this position. We welcome candidates with previous fast food experience; however, it is not mandatory, as we provide thorough training to support your success.
