ARRIVE Memphis, part of the ARRIVE by Palisociety brand, is now hiring a Food and Beverage Manager to join their dynamic team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is pivotal to managing the daily operations of the restaurant within the hotel, ensuring guests enjoy impeccable service and a memorable dining experience. Reporting to both the General Manager and the Vice President of Food and Beverage for Palisociety, this position entails overseeing various aspects of food and beverage operations, including employee selection, development, and performance management. The Food and Beverage Manager plays a critical role in inventory control, ordering supplies, optimizing profits, and maintaining high service standards throughout the restaurant. This is a full-time hospitality management position that demands leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
The Food and Beverage Manager’s responsibilities include managing restaurant operations to maximize revenue while maintaining exceptional customer service, handling guest concerns with professionalism, staffing and overseeing on-site events, and developing cost-saving measures to enhance profitability. This position also involves close collaboration with culinary leadership to design and implement appealing menus and promotions. Effective communication with all departments is essential to align the overall service goals, and administrative duties like scheduling, inventory management, and digital communications are integral to the role.
The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of senior management experience in a full-service or fast-casual restaurant environment, a culinary sales and service background, and familiarity with technology tools such as MS Office and reservation management systems. A valid ServSafe Food Handler Certificate is required. The manager must be adaptable with a flexible schedule, able to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and physically capable of performing demanding tasks such as carrying weight up to 40 pounds and extended periods of walking, standing, and bending.
