Job Description
InnovAge is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently, allowing them to age safely in their own homes and communities. InnovAge offers an innovative alternative to nursing homes through its Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which provides enrolled seniors with customized healthcare and social support at PACE Adult Day Health Centers. These centers are staffed by medical professionals who create personalized care plans shaped around the unique needs of each participant. As a company, InnovAge prides itself on fostering a patient-centered care model, where respect, compassion, and teamwork are the cornerstones of its operation.
The Food and Medical Supplies Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in the daily operations of InnovAge Greater Colorado PACE and its affiliated facilities. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food, medications, and supplies to and from centers, participants, and various other facilities. Utilizing advanced routing software, the Delivery Driver coordinates schedules and ensures that deliveries are made efficiently and safely. The role requires the safe loading and unloading of goods into InnovAge vehicles and the maintenance of vehicle cleanliness and safety standards. This position demands a strong commitment to safety, demonstrated through defensive driving practices and adherence to InnovAge policies and procedures. The Delivery Driver also ensures that necessary signatures and confirmations are obtained upon delivery, confirming that items reach the appropriate recipients.
Beyond delivery duties, the role may involve assisting with other assigned tasks as needed, making it a dynamic and multi-faceted position within the organization. The role is suitable for individuals with a high school diploma or GED, a valid state-issued driver’s license, and an excellent driving record. Bilingual candidates are preferred, reflecting InnovAge’s dedication to serving diverse communities effectively.
InnovAge offers competitive salaries ranging from $19.76 to $22.74 per hour, with exact compensation determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to remuneration, the company provides an extensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; short and long-term disability coverage; life insurance including accidental death and dismemberment benefits; supplemental life insurance options; flexible spending accounts; a 401(k) savings plan with company match; paid time off; and company-paid holidays.
At InnovAge, team members are valued as the organization's greatest asset. The company is committed to diversity, equal opportunity, and creating an inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other protected classification. This commitment ensures a supportive and respectful environment where every employee can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the health and well-being of seniors in their community.
