Job Description

Grand Casino Hotel & Resort is a premier hospitality destination known for providing an exceptional experience through its diverse dining options, luxurious hotel accommodations, and entertainment facilities. As a vibrant establishment that caters to both local and international guests, the resort takes pride in delivering superior service and quality in all aspects of its operations. The commitment to excellence reflects in every facet of the resort’s offerings, making it a top choice for travelers seeking comfort, fine dining, and memorable entertainment experiences.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor position at Grand Casino Hotel & Resort is a vital role focused on managing and coordinating the daily operations of the resort's restaurants. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the dining venues operate smoothly, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is classified as non-exempt hourly employment, with a competitive wage ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. Full-time employees are also eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, with reasonable biweekly payroll deductions depending on the coverage plan.

The supervisor will play a critical part in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing inventory management, and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering necessary supplies, preparing financial deposits and revenue reports, and managing cash registers during peak times. The role demands a hands-on leader who can effectively communicate with both front-of-house staff and kitchen teams, ensuring the guest experience is always a top priority.

Candidates must either possess a valid liquor license or have initiated the application process by the first day of employment, except for those assigned solely to kitchen roles who are exempt from this requirement. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will also be expected to enforce standards related to food presentation, hygiene protocols, safety regulations as per OSHA guidelines, and familiarity with diverse culinary preparation methods. This position involves physical demands such as standing for extended periods, occasional bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, and working within a dynamic restaurant environment.

Overall, this opportunity at Grand Casino Hotel & Resort offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about hospitality management and customer service. The supervisor’s contributions are essential in promoting a positive public image and ensuring the resort’s continued success as a leading entertainment and lodging destination. With supportive management and competitive compensation, this role is suited for motivated professionals ready to advance their skills in a fast-paced, culturally rich setting.
