Job Description

The Food and Beverage Supervisor role is a pivotal position within the hospitality industry, specifically tailored to hotels and resorts that emphasize exceptional guest service and operational excellence. Our establishment, a leading hotel renowned for its commitment to high-quality dining experiences and attentive customer service, is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department. This company values a welcoming atmosphere that combines elegance and comfort, creating memorable dining experiences across multiple outlets including banquets, restaurants, and room service.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is charged with ensuring that each guest receives an outstanding service experience while maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of all food and beverage activities. This role requires a dynamic leader who possesses strong supervisory skills, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a proven ability to cultivate a positive environment that motivates staff and delights guests alike. Reporting directly to management, the supervisor will be involved in staff training and development, monitoring service standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

In this role, you will be the face of the food and beverage department on the floor, leading by example and creating a supportive and energetic work environment. You will supervise a team composed of servers, bussers, bartenders, and other related personnel, guiding them to meet the hotel's high standards for quality and customer service. Beyond personnel management, this position includes assisting with scheduling, inventory control, and event coordination, thereby encompassing a comprehensive oversight of the department's functions.

The supervisor will also play a crucial role in guest relations, addressing inquiries, handling complaints with professionalism, and ensuring every patron leaves satisfied. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role involves monitoring dining areas for cleanliness, organization, and efficient service flow. Financial responsibilities include processing and verifying guest transactions, balancing server checkouts, and managing point-of-sale (POS) reports to secure daily deposits, all of which contribute to the department's overall financial integrity.

We seek candidates who are not only experienced but who also demonstrate a passion for hospitality and teamwork. The ideal Food and Beverage Supervisor will be adaptive, able to work under pressure in a dynamic setting, and committed to upholding the cultural standards that define our hotel’s brand. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, opportunities for growth, and a chance to contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering hospitality excellence. If you have a food server permit, knowledge of responsible alcohol service, and a desire to lead an enthusiastic team, this role might be the perfect opportunity for you to advance your career in the hospitality sector.
