Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Must convey information and ideas clearly
- Must evaluate and select alternative actions quickly and accurately
- Must show initiative and anticipate needs
- Must work well under high-pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must handle workplace problems effectively
- Must assimilate complex information from various sources

- Must understand financial information and perform basic arithmetic
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with safety and operational regulations
- Assist in maintaining food and beverage costs
- Communicate closely with employees and motivate staff
- Monitor servers' cash overages and shortages
- Maintain service standards and conduct coaching sessions
- Handle guest complaints and emergencies
- Maintain disciplinary actions
- Ensure employees are attentive and courteous
- Assist in wage progress and productivity reporting
- Prepare staff schedules according to business forecast
- Assist in inventories and reconciliations
- Ensure completion of side work duties
- Develop promotional ideas
- Organize monthly department meetings
- Promote sales efforts
- Prepare and conduct employee performance appraisals
- Maintain quality and presentation of food products
- Attend required meetings
- Perform other management duties as assigned
