Job Description
Denver Summit FC is a premier sports and entertainment venue dedicated to providing exceptional fan experiences during high-energy events like soccer matches and large-scale gatherings. Operating within the vibrant city of Denver, this establishment boasts one of the most dynamic environments where sports enthusiasts come together to enjoy thrilling games while indulging in a variety of food and beverage options. The venue operates under the esteemed Compass Group, a global leader in foodservice management and hospitality, known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Denver Summit FC is crucial in maintaining the operational excellence that guests expect. This supervisory position offers an hourly pay ranging from $22 to $24 and involves overseeing food and beverage services during games and special events. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all event staff comply with operational, safety, and service standards, contributing to a seamless stadium experience. The role demands excellent leadership skills to train, support, and guide attendants across multiple concession stands, premium service areas, and portable locations. Maintaining a strong presence on the floor allows the supervisor to engage directly with guests, address concerns promptly, and uphold the brand's reputation for outstanding service.
Inventory management plays a significant part in this role, especially given the fast-paced environment of a stadium during peak event hours. The supervisor manages high-volume food and beverage stock, ensuring proper storage, shrink control, and minimal waste. Regular physical inventories and audits are performed to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate counts. This position also involves enforcing responsible alcohol service in line with company protocols and local laws, making sure that all service adheres to safety and legal standards.
Additionally, the Food and Beverage Supervisor implements strict standards related to sanitation, food safety, and product quality to comply with health department regulations and the venue's operating procedures. Working collaboratively with other supervisors, managers, and support departments is essential to ensure consistent service delivery, accurate inventory management, and adherence to cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) procedures.
The role is demanding and requires someone who thrives under pressure, capable of working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods. The supervisor combats the challenges of a high-volume stadium environment with effective communication, leadership, and proactive problem-solving to enhance the fan experience.
Denver Summit FC, through its affiliation with Compass Group, offers employees unique benefits such as Instapay for early wage access, a high-interest savings program via the EVEN app, and access to various wellness and shopping programs. The company fosters an inclusive, equitable workplace committed to fair treatment of all employees, encouraging diversity and compliance with all protective laws. This Food and Beverage Supervisor role presents a rewarding opportunity for candidates eager to contribute to a top-tier sports venue while growing their leadership skills in a robust hospitality setting.
