The role of Food & Beverage Supervisor at Lucky Strike Entertainment is an exciting leadership opportunity within this thriving company. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of the bar, snack bar, and/or restaurant within the bowling center. This is a pivotal position that entails providing expert input to the General Manager on all food and beverage-related matters within the center. Your responsibility will include maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff, enforcing compliance with alcohol service laws, and supervising the delivery of excellent guest service. You will play a central role in driving profitability by managing revenues effectively, controlling costs, and implementing food and beverage promotions. The position requires hands-on management of daily routines, staff scheduling, inventory control, and vendor relations to ensure quality and timely service. Additionally, you will be instrumental in training and developing food and beverage personnel to uphold company standards and boost team performance. The role demands strong communication skills to coordinate with all departments about events, parties, promotions, and league activities that impact the food and beverage operations. As a leader, you will foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere while ensuring that health department regulations and company policies are strictly followed. Job Requirements

  • Prior food and beverage customer service experience
  • Prior bartender and drink preparation experience
  • Experience in food handling
  • Completion of Serving Alcohol Responsibly training
  • TIPS certification
  • Meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Possess local alcohol serving requirements
  • Supervisory training and knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly courteous polite and helpful customer service
  • Maintain safe work environment
  • Provide safe environment for customers
  • Check ID of customers to ensure no one under legal drinking age is served
  • Control service of alcohol to prevent excessive consumption
  • Ensure implementation of all food and beverage promotions as specified
  • Maintain current menu pricing
  • Communicate with food and beverage staff about upcoming events parties banquets promotions or league start-ups
  • Encourage staff to sign up bowlers
  • Inform food and beverage employees about center activities and promotions
  • Ask customers to join leagues and/or participate in activities
  • Design and implement daily weekly and monthly food and beverage specials as directed
  • Screen interview and train bar snack bar kitchen and wait staff
  • Schedule all bar and food service staff
  • Oversee daily routines in restaurant and bar to ensure quality and service meet established specifications
  • Provide work direction to other food and beverage employees on required tasks
  • Ensure uniform policy is followed by food and beverage staff
  • Take inventory daily of required items
  • Assist in developing levels of inventories on service requirements to inhibit waste and maintain security
  • Take complete food and beverage inventory as required and complete all accompanying paperwork
  • Order all liquor beer food and food and beverage supplies
  • Receive and check all food and beverage deliveries from vendors for quality and quantity
  • Maintain current cost figures and inform manager of price changes necessary
  • Review vendor invoices to ensure proper pricing adherence and inform manager of changes affecting profitability
  • Review daily and weekly lounge reports
  • Analyze profit and loss monthly in food and beverage area
  • Prepare annual review for food and beverage staff
  • Assist in setting food and beverage pricing and update pricing as necessary
  • Keep cost of goods and revenues in line with budget
  • Perform special assignments as related to food and beverage upon general manager request
  • Investigate inventory or cash discrepancies
  • Perform shift checkouts as required
  • Attend center staff meetings and update employees on food and beverage activities
  • Verify implementation of all center and BB&B policies in food and beverage area
  • Conduct food and beverage staff meetings
  • Adhere to public health department regulations
  • Attend local training sessions on food sanitation liquor laws and obtain necessary certifications
  • Work varying shifts weekends holidays and extended hours to support business needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
