Job Requirements
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders
- scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- ability to work in areas where common allergens may be present
- capable of exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
- ability to remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- work independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and full shopping experience
- uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards
- execute processes including food deliveries, replenishment, merchandise straightening, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing reserve product
- follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- work with vendors to maintain and adjust salesfloor merchandise displays and backroom organization
- locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to policies
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance culture
- support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up duties
