- one year previous bartending or serving experience in a hospitality environment
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to comply with state alcohol service regulations
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
- strong interpersonal skills
- willingness to perform cleaning tasks as needed

Job Duties
- maintain a clean professional work area at all times
- serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to grill area patrons
- obtain knowledge of menu items, beverage brands, cocktail recipes, and various drinks
- perform in accordance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service and consumption
- serve hot and cold food to guests timely
- follow steps of service including greeting, upselling, establishing rapport, serving, pre-bussing, thanking guests, and inviting them back
- collect monies for beverages and food served in pool grill area
- keep bar grill area clean and clutter-free
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned
- demonstrate full knowledge of Micros point-of-sale system and end-of-shift reports
- maintain regular attendance as established by HGVC
- carry out all reasonable management requests
