Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G E D equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting carrying standing and walking for extended periods
- Proficient in basic computer applications and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work full time and maintain a professional appearance
- Availability to work on site at the Bloomington Minnesota location
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year related work experience in sales marketing or hospitality
- Familiarity with sales documentation and software
- Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties
- Prepare sales-related documents including proposals contracts and banquet event orders
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
- Gather materials and assemble information packages such as brochures and promotional materials
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott
- Assist management in developing implementing and executing revenue and marketing programs for all outlets and room service
- Develop coordinate and implement social media initiatives and beverage promotional programs
- Enter retrieve reconcile and verify information in software involved in the sales process
- Answer guest questions about property facilities services hours of operation rates room types packages promotions entertainment restaurants and special events
- Serve as point of contact for clients responding to questions and requests by phone and email
- Coordinate reservation confirmations for special and holiday events for parties of six or more
- Coordinate selling of all food and beverage in hospitality suites through Room Service Department
- Perform general office duties such as filing sending emails typing faxing and copying
- Report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Follow all company policies procedures and maintain professional personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate service needs
- Speak with others using clear and professional language and prepare written documents accurately
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Perform physical tasks including lifting carrying standing and walking for extended periods
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
