Job Description
Our client is a premier hospitality group operating a leading casino and entertainment complex known for delivering an exceptional guest experience with top-notch food and beverage service. This organization prides itself on maintaining superior service standards across all venues, including multiple restaurant outlets and vibrant casino beverage services. Renowned for blending a luxurious atmosphere with dynamic customer engagements, the company is committed to providing an environment where guest satisfaction is paramount and employees are empowered to excel. Being an integral part of a high-energy, fast-paced hospitality environment, the company offers a stimulating workplace culture and opportunities for career growth in the food and beverage sector. This position is a full-time leadership role focused on ensuring smooth operations and outstanding service delivery within the front-of-house areas. Compensation details will be provided upon application and are competitive within the industry.
The role of Front-of-House Manager is pivotal in upholding consistent, high-quality service standards across all outlets. The successful candidate will oversee all front-of-house operations including the casino beverage outlets and restaurant services. This includes verifying that all opening, closing, and operational procedures adhere strictly to the company standards. The manager will maintain an active presence on the floor through regular visits to guest tables, ensuring every patron's experience exceeds expectations and fostering positive guest relationships. Responsibilities also extend to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all customer-facing environments, enhancing both the guest and employee experience.
Supervisory duties encompass coaching and developing supervisors and front-of-house personnel, implementing comprehensive training programs designed to cultivate service excellence and operational efficiency. Conducting performance evaluations and appraisals, as well as proactive employee relation management including administering progressive discipline, are key components of this role. The Front-of-House Manager also plays a vital role in modeling exemplary service standards such as warm greetings and engagement with guests, which promotes a welcoming atmosphere.
Operational management tasks involve creating and managing work schedules that balance optimal service levels with labor cost efficiency, ensuring training and staffing plans are executed timely and accurately. Budget oversight including managing labor costs and controlling operational expenses while minimizing overtime is essential. The role demands active oversight of cash handling procedures to guarantee accuracy and security. To succeed, candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills complemented by excellent customer service and team-building abilities. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting, with solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Educational requirements include at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred, alongside 3-5 plus years of progressively responsible food and beverage leadership experience including supervisory roles.
Additional job requirements include physical demands such as the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable working in high-noise, fast-paced environments that may include exposure to secondhand smoke. The ability to maintain composure under pressure and effectively handle challenging situations is crucial. The role also requires keen observational skills to respond to both visual and auditory cues promptly and accurately.
