The hotel is located in the vibrant St. Petersburg area, offering guests a top-tier experience with its 90 well-appointed rooms and exceptional event spaces spanning over 875 square feet. It features the unique Vista at the Top, a rooftop bar and restaurant that boasts breathtaking panoramic waterfront views, providing guests and visitors with a memorable dining and social experience. We are currently seeking a talented, energetic, and guest-service-oriented Food & Beverage Manager to lead and innovate our food and beverage operations at Residence Inn Tierra Verde. This role is integral to enhancing guest satisfaction and ensuring that every dining and event experience is executed flawlessly. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee a broad spectrum of operations including the daily management of Vista at the Top, bar services, banquet and event setups, as well as special event execution. This position calls for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment, demonstrating leadership by example and a relentless commitment to operational excellence.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the restaurant or food and beverage field
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- high school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
- ServSafe and/or food safety training
- alcohol awareness training such as TIPS
- familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations and use required measurement tools
- ability to prepare budgets and ensure cost controls
- bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Job Duties
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings, and varied shifts as business demands require
- ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures within the Food & Beverage Department
- maintain food and beverage safety, sanitation, and quality standards based on hotel, Shaner, and franchise requirements
- establish, maintain, train, and enforce departmental standards, procedures, and safe working conditions
- lead daily restaurant, bar, and food service operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- coordinate and oversee banquet and event operations including setup, execution, breakdown, and service standards
- manage event logistics and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of meetings, receptions, group functions, and special events
