As part of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, a respected hotel management company, Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown enjoys a reputation for delivering quality guest experiences that respect both tradition and modern flair. The hotel features well-appointed guest rooms, versatile event spaces, and dynamic food and beverage venues, making it a favored destination for both business travelers and tourists alike.
The Food & Beverage Manager role at Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown presents an exciting and dynamic leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional. This full-time, overtime-eligible management position requires a dedicated individual prepared to work a scheduled 47.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the restaurant, bar, banquet, and culinary operations, overseeing both Front of House and Back of House teams. With a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team development, operational efficiency, and financial performance, this role is crucial for elevating the hotel's food and beverage services to new heights.
The Food & Beverage Manager will report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and be responsible for the comprehensive administration and operation of the department. The position requires collaboration with the Director to develop innovative strategies that enhance guest experiences while ensuring the profitability of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, and banquet services. Key responsibilities include supervising personnel, managing budgets and payroll, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving revenue growth through strategic marketing and upselling initiatives.
This hands-on leadership role demands a visible and approachable manager who actively participates in daily operations alongside their teams, fostering an engaging and professional work environment. By promoting continuous training and development, the Food & Beverage Manager will empower staff to deliver outstanding service consistent with Hilton brand standards. This role is also instrumental in maintaining strict quality control over food and beverage offerings, investigating guest complaints promptly, and ensuring that service, sanitation, and safety standards are rigorously upheld.
Additionally, the Food & Beverage Manager is expected to leverage their strong financial acumen to oversee department budgets, analyze sales data to identify opportunities for menu optimization, and manage inventory related to equipment, small ware, and liquor. This role also includes talent acquisition and retention responsibilities to attract and sustain skilled professionals within the department. Exceptional communication skills, financial insight, and a passion for hospitality excellence are essential to thriving in this position. Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown proudly supports equal employment opportunities and embraces diversity in all aspects of its operations.
