This premier venue is designed to be a top destination for youth sports tournaments and events, while simultaneously serving as a vital recreational resource for the local community. The facility includes versatile amenities such as multi-sport capabilities with basketball courts convertible to volleyball and pickleball courts, multi-purpose indoor turf fields suitable for indoor soccer, box lacrosse, flag football, and baseball, as well as community spaces like a fitness center, multipurpose meeting rooms, and event spaces. The Food and Beverage Manager position at Henderson Sports & Social represents a pivotal leadership role within this dynamic environment. Responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day management of all food and beverage operations at the new West Henderson Fieldhouse, the manager will lead a variety of outlets including onsite concession and fast-casual dining, counter service, banquet, and catering functions. This full-time, salaried, non-seasonal, exempt role demands a seasoned professional who can successfully manage a diverse team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, high-quality food and beverages, and overall profitability.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the annual food and beverage operating plan and budget to align with revenue goals and guest experience standards, managing all food and beverage outlets, recruiting and training staff, and maintaining stringent food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local and federal regulations. The manager will also be responsible for inventory and cost control, collaborating with marketing for promotional initiatives, vendor relations, and leading food and beverage services for various events and tournaments. Maintaining alcohol service compliance and certifications, monitoring guest satisfaction, and staying informed about industry trends are also crucial aspects of this role. Job Requirements
- High school or college degree required or preferred
- Five years applicable functional supervisory or management experience preferably in the golf industry
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
- Work flexible hours as required including nights and weekends
- Positive attitude professional manner and appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school or college degree required or preferred
- Five years applicable functional supervisory or management experience preferably in the golf industry
- Demonstrated experience and capability in budget development fiscal management strategic planning and staff management
- Demonstrated quality written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Oversee the annual food and beverage operating plan and budget to ensure alignment with revenue goals and guest experience standards
- Manage all food and beverage outlets across the park including full-service restaurants counter service locations and banquet catering spaces
- Recruit train schedule and supervise all food and beverage front-of-house team members including service staff kitchen staff and event catering personnel
- Ensure consistent adherence to food safety sanitation and workplace safety standards in compliance with local state and federal regulations
- Implement and monitor purchasing and inventory systems to maintain appropriate stock levels and manage cost controls across all units
- Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to develop promotions packages and event driven activations to increase guest spending and enhance brand visibility
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors suppliers and partners to optimize product quality and pricing
- Lead the planning and execution of food and beverage service for internal events tournaments banquets and external rentals
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between kitchen and service staff to maintain consistency in guest service and culinary execution
- Uphold compliance with TABC guidelines and all alcohol service regulations maintain certifications for responsible alcohol management programs
- Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback loops and service recovery efforts to maintain a high standard of hospitality across all touchpoints
- Stay current with industry trends emerging concepts and guest expectations to evolve the food and beverage program
