Joining the Fairmont Olympic Hotel means becoming part of a legacy that blends heritage with contemporary excellence in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
The Food & Beverage Manager at Fairmont Olympic Hotel plays a crucial role in leading the front-of-house operations at George Restaurant, a space dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences steeped in culinary creativity and precision. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $70,000 and includes a range of benefits such as access to an employee travel program with discounted rates worldwide at Fairmont and Accor properties, parking and commuting discounts, paid meal breaks with complimentary staff dining, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Further benefits include supplemental insurance plans, a 401K retirement plan with a 4 percent match, learning opportunities through dedicated academies, and a dynamic work environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

The manager is responsible for mentoring and developing a team of professionals, providing ongoing training, and setting performance standards that align with the hotel’s high-quality service ethic.
Additionally, the manager drives revenue growth through strategic initiatives such as upselling, organizing private events, and launching special promotions. Maintaining strong and positive guest relationships is paramount, requiring attentiveness to feedback and proactive enhancement of the dining environment. Health and safety compliance is rigorously maintained to guarantee a safe setting for guests and staff, while coordination with other hotel departments ensures optimal operational efficiency. This role demands a flexible and dedicated leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering culinary excellence paired with outstanding service.
