The Food & Beverage Manager position at Hotel AKA NoMad offers a rewarding leadership opportunity within a vibrant hospitality environment. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the food and beverage operations by managing the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets. Responsibilities include ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, maintaining quality service across all outlets, and conforming with corporate policies as well as relevant food safety and hospitality regulations. This role demands a hands-on leader with keen attention to detail and a passion for hospitality who can effectively lead a dynamic team and foster a culture of excellence.

As a Food & Beverage Manager, the individual will oversee daily operations including culinary, beverage, restaurant, events, and minibar services, ensuring smooth and efficient service. They will be instrumental in developing and implementing sound business plans to drive revenue and profitability while keeping costs under control. The manager will closely monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and reviewing profit and loss reports to maintain and grow the department's financial health. Equally important is the commitment to exceptional guest service, where the manager leads by example and motivates staff to meet and exceed guest expectations. Offering responsive and proactive guest recovery measures, setting clear service standards, and nurturing a cohesive team environment form core aspects of this role.

Human resource management is a significant element of the position, as the manager will provide leadership and mentorship to the team, conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and facilitate ongoing professional development. The position requires familiarity with Micros Symphony POS systems and a certified food handler's certificate or card. It also demands a solid understanding of food and beverage hotel operations, including knowledge of marketing, safety protocols, labor relations, quality assurance programs, and hospitality law. The successful candidate needs strong communication skills in English, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a minimum of five years’ experience in a related food and beverage management role, ideally within the hotel industry. This role will be performed in person at the Hotel AKA NoMad location, offering a stimulating work environment where leadership, creativity, and operational excellence are highly valued.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in English both written and verbal
  • Hotel food and beverage experience preferred

Job Qualifications
