The Food & Beverage Manager (Beverage Focus) role at Town and Country Resort is a dynamic leadership position that places you at the heart of the guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage management or similar role
  • Proven track record of managing multiple beverage outlets successfully
  • Strong understanding of beverage cost controls and inventory management
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in beverage inventory and ordering systems

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience with significant beverage leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing high-volume resort, hotel, restaurant, or entertainment venue beverage programs
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktail development, and current industry trends
  • Experience with beverage inventory systems, ordering, and cost management
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or ability to obtain
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, push and pull up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Lead the daily operations of multiple beverage outlets, bars, and lounges
  • Inspire, coach, and develop bartenders, servers, and supervisors to deliver exceptional hospitality
  • Create memorable beverage experiences through innovative cocktail menus, seasonal features, and premium spirit, beer, and wine programs
  • Partner with culinary leadership to develop food and beverage pairings and promotions
  • Maintain beverage cost controls through inventory management, purchasing, and waste reduction
  • Monitor labor productivity while ensuring outstanding service standards
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations, including responsible beverage service
  • Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to grow revenue and profitability
  • Work closely with Marketing and Events to create exciting beverage activations and resort experiences
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, safety, and operational standards throughout all beverage operations
