This full-time position plays a key role in overseeing 'The Cove,' the hotel's outdoor pool and restaurant area, and supports other Food & Beverage outlets as needed. This role requires strong operational skills in managing food and beverage services, including staff selection, training, evaluation, and motivation. The Food & Beverage Manager is also responsible for long-range strategic planning, quality control in food preparation and presentation, and expert knowledge of wines and spirits to enhance the guest dining experience in an elegant setting. Financial acumen is crucial, as managing labor costs, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory, and cash control are vital components of this position. Job Requirements
- College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
- Two to three years previous experience in multiple food & beverage management positions
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the Hotel's Food & Beverage Outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
- Long-range strategic planning for outlet operation
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
