The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, is a distinctive property offering 248 well-appointed guest rooms, 10 versatile meeting spaces, and over 30,000 square feet of meeting space. Nestled within the vibrant academic atmosphere of the University of Florida, this property blends hospitality excellence with an energetic university community spirit. The role of Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager at this location is a dynamic and hands-on position focused on overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets. The F&B Manager is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading and developing the team, maintaining Hilton brand standards, and driving revenue growth through innovative service and marketing strategies. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, the manager collaborates closely with the F&B team to create memorable dining experiences tailored to hotel guests, conference attendees, university visitors, and local patrons. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive food and beverage supervisory or management experience in a full-service hotel, restaurant, or resort
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing team members
- Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while actively managing the floor
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of Micros, POS systems, and Microsoft Office preferred
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification and alcohol service certification or ability to obtain after hire preferred
Job Duties
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of all hotel food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence
- Lead service during meal periods by actively managing the dining room, assisting team members, and interacting with guests
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, food safety regulations, and health department requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve service concerns to ensure an outstanding dining experience
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, menu updates, promotions, and service expectations
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement
- Assist with performance evaluations, coaching, recognition, and corrective action as needed
- Help develop and execute promotions, special events, holiday offerings, and seasonal menus that increase outlet traffic and revenue
- Work with the Shula's Team to promote restaurant events and community engagement
- Assist in developing social media content, marketing ideas, and local partnerships to increase visibility of the restaurant and lounge
- Monitor guest reviews and online reputation, responding appropriately and implementing improvements when needed
- Create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business from both hotel guests and local patrons
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage with achieving revenue, labor, and profitability goals
- Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and operational expenses
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels for outlet supplies
- Prepare reports and complete administrative tasks as assigned
