In the role of Restaurant Manager at Invited, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily food and beverage service within the club's restaurant operations. This junior management position offers a unique blend of leadership responsibilities and hands-on service, working in tandem with the Restaurant Director to uphold rigorous service standards and safety protocols. Your focus will be on delivering an exceptional member experience by maintaining high-quality service and operational excellence.

Your duties will include supervising the restaurant service staff to guarantee seamless and accurate execution of orders, managing reservation logistics, and ensuring event setups meet precise specifications. You will also be entrusted with executing opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work areas, and assisting in training initiatives to develop a skilled and cohesive team. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily specials, and the club's beverage offerings to provide informed service to members.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage industry, restaurant, or private club setting
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • Sufficient visual acuity
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • Physical capability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, twist, bend, fold and unfold
  • Must follow safe working practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage industry, restaurant, or private club setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • Experience handling confidential member and employee information
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
  • Preferred certifications include Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service, STAR Trainer, TABC, and CPR
  • Completion of food and beverage online training modules preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily food and beverage service within the club's restaurant operations
  • Ensure member and guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
  • Supervise service staff to maintain consistent, high-quality service
  • Monitor reservation book and oversee room setups according to event specifications
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for all meal shifts
  • Assist in training and developing service staff
  • Maintain orderly and sanitary work areas
  • Participate in and lead staff meetings and service training sessions
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the à la carte menu and beverage offerings
  • Record necessary information in the log for the next shift
  • Support and enforce company policies and maintain high ethical standards
  • Promote and follow safe working practices
  • Maintain certifications relevant to the role
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to resolve challenges and support operations
  • Take initiative in personal and professional growth
