The Food & Beverage Manager position at WonderWorks Orlando offers a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about food service, leadership, and creating memorable guest experiences. This full-time, onsite role comes with a competitive salary starting at $52,000 per year with weekly payouts every Friday. In this vital role, the Food & Beverage Manager takes responsibility for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the park. From managing inventory, controlling food costs, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations to leading a motivated team, this role calls for someone energetic, customer-focused, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The manager works closely with kitchen staff, suppliers, and other departments to plan menus, maintain quality standards, and deliver exceptional service that aligns with WonderWorks reputation for excellence.

The schedule requires flexibility with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the entertainment venues operating hours.

Job Requirements
- 2+ years of operations management in guest services, retail, and food and beverage experience required to allow for optimal success
- 1+ years of food and beverage experience supervising/leading a team in a kitchen setting
- previous management experience in an attraction, theme park, or high-volume entertainment venue environment is preferred
- ability to climb, bend, kneel, stoop, stand, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- proven microsoft office suite skills (excel, outlook, word, etc.)
- qualified candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule of 12pm-8pm, and/or 2pm-10pm
- this position requires the ability to work any shift weekend including nights, weekends, and holidays
- cash-handling experience and basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change
- ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
- ability to multi-task, work independently, and make reasonable and ethical decisions quickly within a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- provides exceptional customer service in a timely and responsive manner including responding to guest complaints and team member issues
- understands and manages guest services, retail, and food and beverage processes as needed on shifts
- estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies
- confers with food preparation and other personnel to plan menus and related activities such as dining room, bar, and banquet operations
- inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
- investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints
- reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations
