The LifeCafe Leader role at Life Time is a vital position charged with overseeing the overall performance and growth of a specific LifeCafe location. The LifeCafe Leader is responsible for managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, touching on critical areas such as inventory management, scheduling, payroll, and compliance with operational policies. Taking initiative within what is referred to as "The Zone," the LifeCafe Leader guarantees that menu items are executed with quality and precision, ticket times meet expected standards, and customer service exceeds expectations. Beyond operational responsibilities, the role demands competent financial management including handling profit and loss statements, budgeting, and implementing cost controls on food, beverage, and labor expenses to optimize profitability.

Regarding qualifications and credentials, candidates must possess certifications such as ServSafe, Alcohol Safety when applicable, and CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire. Educationally, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates who hold a college degree in culinary, business, or related fields. Experience requirements include at least three years of leadership in fast-paced food or hospitality environments, with preferred candidates having chef or culinary experience or prior business ownership.

The LifeCafe Leader position is a salaried role with a starting salary of $75,600, competitive within the industry, and offers potential earnings up to $104,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Performance bonuses are also part of the compensation structure.
