We are currently seeking an energetic, business-minded General Manager to lead the daily dining and culinary operations within our community. This leadership role presents an incredible opportunity to manage a premier dining program as if it were your own business, backed by a strong company culture that puts its people first. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of food production, menu design, and execution with a focus on executing restaurant-quality standards for daily dining and executive catering services. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the dining operation, including P&L analysis, operational forecasting, inventory control, payroll processing, and expense management.
Your role will also encompass maintaining strong client and vendor relationships, ensuring smooth communication and responsiveness to the needs of residents, building owners, and regional vendors. An essential part of your responsibility will be to recruit, train, and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and excellence. You will lead by example, working alongside your team during peak hours to ensure service quality and efficiency.
Compliance with corporate policies is critical to this role. You will ensure that all safety standards, proper food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and uniform guidelines are strictly adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of operation. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a 10% bonus program. Job Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Dining Director or Manager
- experience in senior living, CCRC, or memory care facilities
- bachelor's degree, culinary school certificate or degree, or equivalent education and leadership experience
- ability to work either Saturday or Sunday weekly
- passion for team management and mentorship
- strong financial skills
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Culinary School certificate or degree, or equivalent combination of industry education and leadership experience
- 5 to 7 years of proven success as a Dining Director or Manager
- senior living, CCRC, or memory care facility experience
- CDM certification a plus
- strong financial acumen
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- passion for team management, development, and mentorship
