They are currently hiring for a Food & Beverage Supervisor role, a vital position responsible for managing the daily operations of a designated food and beverage outlet during a specific shift. This role demands strong leadership skills to supervise staff, create efficient schedules, and maintain labor costs while meeting staffing needs and guest satisfaction goals. The supervisor supports operational goals tied to departmental performance and profit objectives, actively assisting in budget planning and ensuring compliance with cost-control methods. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years Food and Beverage experience
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and overtime
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage staff and provide training and development

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact diplomatically and tactfully with guests and staff
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Ability to present information effectively to managers, clients, and customers

Job Duties

  • Supervise Food & Beverage outlet designated to the role and manage daily shift operations
  • Support and manage operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
  • Create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
  • Assist in the departmental budget process and provide recommendations
  • Promote superior customer service and ensure all team members adhere to standards
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws and food service regulations
  • Assist in maintaining cost control through inventory and par monitoring
  • Support Food & Beverage Manager with administrative duties
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
  • Manage staff development, training, and rewards programs
  • Evaluate team members and provide performance feedback
  • Recommend staffing needs including interviewing and hiring
  • Manage workflow and work procedures
  • Handle employee performance management including coaching and counseling
