With a proven track record spanning over a century, Mead & Hunt has built a reputation for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions that elevate both clients and their communities. The company emphasizes flexibility, community involvement, and investments in its employees' professional growth through various programs and initiatives designed to support long-lasting relationships and career development.

We are currently seeking a CEI Area Leader to join our team in Florida. This leadership role is ideal for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for maintaining and expanding Mead & Hunt's presence in the Florida Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) market. The CEI division already has a strong foothold in the Southeastern United States, and this position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and focus the Florida branch of this division.

As the CEI Area Leader in Florida, you will serve as the face of Mead & Hunt's CEI operations in the region. The role involves a heavy focus on operations management, strategic planning, and business development. You will be responsible for managing the Florida CEI division, driving business growth, securing new CEI contracts with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and working to expand the division's reach while leveraging the extensive resources of Mead & Hunt.

This key leadership position requires a blend of industry knowledge, management skills, and strategic vision to guide the division through growth initiatives and operational excellence. You will play a central role in nurturing relationships with clients, particularly within the state transportation sector, and leading efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of CEI projects, especially within Florida, and the capability to influence and lead teams within a dynamic and growing environment.

At Mead & Hunt, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible workplace that emphasizes career advancement, employee ownership, and a robust benefits package. Joining our team means becoming part of a diverse company that values skillsets across various disciplines, offering flexible schedules and an inclusive culture that supports professional and personal balance. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.

If you are passionate about leadership in the construction engineering inspection field and eager to contribute to the growth of a respected firm with a storied history, Mead & Hunt offers an exciting career opportunity in Florida. We encourage qualified candidates with a strong background in consulting, particularly in relationship building and business development with FDOT, to apply and become part of our employee-owned family committed to integrity, innovation, and community impact.
