This role is specifically based within federal grounds, requiring compliance with strict health and safety protocols, including mandatory COVID-19 vaccination proof or a negative test result within 72 hours prior to entry. Offering a competitive pay rate of $22.98 per hour and operating from 1:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday, Chimes provides a stable work environment with full-time employment benefits for those working more than 30 hours per week.

The Floor Technician position is a hands-on role involving manual labor to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of floor surfaces within federal buildings. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety and security procedures. The technician will perform a variety of floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and using various floor maintenance machines. The position also requires handling cleaning chemicals safely, performing maintenance on equipment, and ensuring all assigned areas meet contract specifications. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently, follow detailed maintenance programs, and prioritize safety in all tasks. The role includes engaging positively with coworkers and adhering to all security and operational protocols.

Chimes values diversity and encourages candidates with disabilities to apply, promoting an inclusive workplace. In return, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.
