Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and retail technology
- Ability to manage cash and perform retail math
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing supervisory role is highly preferred
- Proficiency with retail technology including Point of Sale (POS) systems and handheld scanners
- Comfortable performing retail math and handling cash management tasks
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate the entire store layout
Job Duties
- Serve as the Manager on Duty, overseeing store opening and closing procedures and securing the building
- Direct the flow of the Front End to minimize customer wait times and ensure efficient "Scan and Bag" techniques
- Supervise a team of Associates, providing real-time coaching, task delegation, and performance feedback
- Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards, monitoring fire alarms, and following all safety protocols
- Oversee the processing of inbound freight, ensuring new arrivals are ticketed, sensor-tagged, and moved to the floor quickly
- Execute Loss Prevention strategies to reduce shortage, including "Code 50" inspections and maintaining high floor visibility
- Manage administrative duties such as payroll edits, bank deposits, and associate scheduling compliance
- Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, recovered, and merchandised according to company brand standards
- Support the Store Manager with promotional signage updates and floor moves to optimize sales
