Essential duties for the Floating General Manager include operational oversight following the General Manager Daily Flow, driving sales through targeted local marketing activities, supervising recruitment efforts, and delivering staff training and development programs. The role requires keen attention to repair, maintenance, and safety issues, ensuring that properties remain safe, secure, and operationally efficient. Effective communication with the Regional Operations Manager is critical, particularly concerning safety, security concerns, guest issues, and policy violations. The Floating General Manager plays a key role in financial stewardship by helping meet budgets through cost and inventory controls and maximizing the financial performance of the properties.

This position demands significant travel, approximately 90% within the market, often requiring overnight stays at various properties.
