Job Description
TravelCenters of America (TA) is a leading provider of essential services and convenience for professional drivers and travelers across North America. With a robust network of locations strategically positioned along major highways, TA offers a blend of fuel, food, maintenance, and other critical services tailored primarily to the trucking industry. Known for its commitment to community, customer satisfaction, and innovative service solutions, TA strives to enhance the experience of the professional driving community through a variety of specialized offerings and industry partnerships.
As a Fleet Marketing Manager at TravelCenters of America, you will be an integral part of the Mobility and Convenience Americas marketing team. This role entails leading a dedicated marketing team focused on driving long-term growth and engagement of the TA network. Your goal will be to cultivate effective marketing and activation plans aimed at consumers such as professional drivers and fleet managers. You will work closely with local market teams, including the Hub and Sales departments, to develop and deliver compelling pro driver and fleet experiences. Your responsibilities include ensuring materials and content are not only optimal but also align with customer and business needs, helping TA maintain its competitive edge in the US market.
The position plays a strategic role in aligning marketing efforts with TA's business improvement objectives. You will lead the creation of impactful engagements that generate large-scale results across diverse business lines. By employing insights and operational intelligence, you will support the development and adaptation of annual marketing plans, product strategies, and activation toolkits. Your expertise in B2B segmentation and insight articulation will be crucial as you collaborate with global marketing teams, sales groups, and other stakeholders to protect and grow TA’s volume and margin. As the marketing lead for TA, you will build and sustain key relationships with internal collaborators and external partners, fostering a unified approach to branded B2B programs and customer engagement.
Your role will involve monitoring marketing program performance and managing relationships with vendors, partners, and agencies to maximize efficiency and impact. You will also oversee the adaptation of digital assets and creative materials to ensure relevance for professional drivers and fleets. Managing customer-facing engagements, including in-person events, sales enablement initiatives, and branded marketing opportunities, will form an important part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will contribute to A/B testing and experimentation efforts, driving continuous improvement in fleet-specific content and campaigns.
This hybrid office and remote position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $175,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits suite including paid vacation, holidays, parental leave, health insurance options, retirement plans, and a discretionary annual bonus program. The role requires up to 25% travel, supporting hands-on engagement and collaboration within the TA network and its partners. TravelCenters of America is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace and provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment and employment process.
Joining the TA marketing team means becoming part of a diverse, value-driven organization where innovation, customer focus, and operational excellence intersect to create impactful outcomes for the transportation and convenience industries. As Fleet Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive significant strategic initiatives that influence the customer experience across a wide-reaching network and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of TA.
