Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production instructions
- Understanding of HACCP procedures
- Food Safety Certification within 6 months of hire
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred
- Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire
Job Duties
- Oversee and support the preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals
- Ensure department goals and objectives are met
- Follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions
- Ensure food is produced according to quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness requirements
- Follow HACCP procedures for food safety
- Use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
- Maintain compliance with food service sanitation and safety standards
