The Server position at Perry's is integral to creating an incredible dining experience for guests from start to finish. Serving at Perry's is not just about taking orders; it is about ensuring that every aspect of the guest's meal is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant. As a Server, you are expected to provide a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with both guests and fellow employees. One of the key responsibilities includes helping guests select menu items by thoroughly reviewing Perry's signature food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, and explaining the chef’s features. Additionally, servers are trained to identify and recommend wines that complement the meal in accordance with Perry’s extensive food and beverage training.
Answering detailed questions about food and beverage preparation is also an important part of the role, as is attentiveness to any special accommodations, such as food allergies, which must be communicated to management and kitchen staff promptly. The Server must maintain the cleanliness of tables and the surrounding dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment throughout the guest's visit. Opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties are essential to smooth operations in the restaurant.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in serving or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- excellent verbal communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- basic math skills
