Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of restaurant experience preferred
- ability to commute to New York, NY 10016
- ability to relocate before starting work
- availability for full-time, temporary, on-call shifts
- knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- excellent physical stamina and the ability to work flexible hours
- clean and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Fine dining experience
- wine knowledge
- customer service skills
- Aloha POS or Micros POS experience
- ability to upsell and provide exceptional guest services
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- previous experience in a high-end restaurant setting
- strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Provides hospitality services in upscale dining establishments
- greets guests, escorts them to their tables, and presents menus
- takes orders, makes recommendations, and accommodates special requests or dietary restrictions
- ensures each customer has the best possible experience
- knowledge of food and wine
- work effectively in a team and handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism
- provide excellent customer service and create a memorable dining experience for patrons
- must always keep a pristine appearance
