The position available is a full-time, non-management role within the food and beverage and culinary sector at the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District hotel located at 800 N Harwood St, Dallas, Texas. This role is integral to the daily operations of the hotel’s service team, where the focus is on delivering exceptional guest service beyond merely serving food and drinks. Employees in this role are expected to actively engage in creating unique and memorable experiences for guests, facilitating seamless service interactions from setting tables to communicating with kitchen staff and maintaining cleanliness in work and storage areas.
The Guest Service Expert role demands initiative and proactive behavior to ensure satisfaction and smooth functioning of the hotel. Responsibilities include handling physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and positioning objects weighing less than 50 pounds, reaching high places, bending, twisting, and other movements necessary for maintaining operational standards and guest satisfaction. The role requires stamina and mobility, including standing, walking, and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
