Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year food production/preparation experience in a similar high-volume restaurant setting preferred
  • Food production/preparation experience in a three-diamond rated property or above (AAA Diamond Rating) preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares meals and other food items according to assignment by the Restaurant Chef at assigned Salad/Pantry, Appetizer, or Add-On fine dining stations in accordance with fine dining standards and guest requests
  • Uses recipes and a variety of kitchen equipment to saute, bake, boil, blanch, braise, fry, sear, and steam food to prepare and reheat soups, salads, sauces, dressings, and other food items
  • Plates meals or other food items in accordance with plate presentation specifications
  • Informs supervisor of any irregularities occurring within the food preparation operation
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work areas throughout the meal period or working shift
  • Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report in the event an accident occurs
  • Ensures food prep areas and related floor areas are properly clean and safe at all times from any spills or mess that have been created by self or others
